Diversity in Biomedical Research Committee
Excellence Through Diversity
Building a diverse and inclusive group of leaders, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, students, and staff at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and its community of affiliated hospitals is central to the School's mission of advancing science and medicine through excellence in research and patient care. As part of the large effort to achieve this goal, the School established the Diversity in Biomedical Research Committee (DBRC) in 2008 to promote diversity in biomedical research.
The DBRC works with faculty, students and administrators to develop sustainable strategies that promote diversity in biomedical research.
