MRI Could Determine How in Love You Truly Are
Most people think of the heart when they think about love, but it’s really all in your head. New research shows that. A new study is revealing that when you’re in love, your brain looks decidedly different than when you’re not. “When we are in love, we are seeing that the brain looks happier. There is a tiny little region in the brain that’s called the reward center and it’s activated when we are doing things that are very pleasurable,” explains Anna Zilverstand, PhD, of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
