Mount Sinai Health System Announces Deal to Lease Office Space at 150 East 42nd Street in Manhattan

Mount Sinai Health System will occupy floors 2 through 5, as well as the 9th and 10th floors.

The Mount Sinai Health System announced that it has entered into an agreement to lease approximately 450,000 square feet of space at 150 East 42nd Street in midtown Manhattan as part of its planned consolidation of corporate offices.

Thomas Ahn, Vice President of the Real Estate Division for the Mount Sinai Health System, represented Mount Sinai in the long-term leasing transaction with Hiro Real Estate and The Goelet Organization.

"This property is strategically located at the geographic center of the Mount Sinai Health System, offering easy access for our staff to major mass transit hubs including Grand Central Terminal," said Mr. Donald Scanlon, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Corporate Services for the Mount Sinai Health System.  "This agreement is a first step that allows us to consolidate several key departments, including Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal and other Corporate Services into modern, state-of-the-art offices.  We look forward to being a part of the vibrant midtown Manhattan community."

Under terms of the lease, the Mount Sinai Health System will occupy floors 2 through 5, as well as the 9th and 10th floors.
