Meet Our Team

The Center is located within the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health and is a collaboration of multidisciplinary experts under the leadership of Robert O Wright, MD, MPH. Dr. Wright is a pediatrician, epigeneticist, and environmental epidemiologist.

As the founder and Director of The Senator Frank R. Lautenberg Environmental Health Sciences Laboratory at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Wright ensures that our team works hand-in-hand to make sure communities receive the latest educational information from experts and our advocacy efforts are at the forefront of policy initiatives.

Executive Board

The CEHC Executive Board is comprised of children’s environmental health advocates, experts, and passionate business and community leaders from across the country. Since our founding in 2007, our Board has played a critical role in the creation of The Senator Frank R. Lautenberg Environmental Health Science Laboratory at Mount Sinai. Under the Board’s leadership, the CEHC has been able to accomplish its mission of protecting, advocating, and educating on behalf of those most vulnerable.
