The Mount Sinai Hospital offers a fully accredited three-year fellowship in gastroenterology. The fellowship program draws upon the resources of two affiliated campuses: The Mount Sinai Hospital and the Bronx VA Medical Center. Fellows receive training based on a core curriculum in clinical gastroenterology and hepatology, including endoscopy and special procedures.

Our subspecialty rotations are in inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal cancer, motility, and nutrition. We also provide in-depth experience in laboratory or clinical investigation.

The Fellowship also provides an opportunity to focus on an advanced sub-specialty area of interest. A strong emphasis is placed on conducting clinical and/or basic research during fellowship training. The gastroenterology fellowship program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
