Our four-year residency program uses clinical and formal didactic experiences to further develop your knowledge and skills in all areas of podiatry, including inpatient and outpatient care and surgical management. Our program is accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. We take an approach that is resource-based, competency-driven, and assessment-validated.
Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel
Our residents perform rotations and attend regularly scheduled formal didactic sessions.
The Residency Program rotations are:
- PGY-1: Residents complete rotations in surgery, internal medicine, radiology, anesthesia, pathology, infectious diseases, and podiatric medicine and surgery.
- PGY-2: Residents complete rotations in podiatric medicine, and emergency medicine.
- PGY-3: Residents complete rotations in psychiatry, wound care, and podiatric medicine.
- PGY-4: Residents complete rotations in podiatric medicine and wound care.
All applicants must complete the official application form through the Central Application Service for Podiatric Residencies (CASPR). We conduct interviews outside of CRIP.
