The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery provides a full range of services to children at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. Our surgeons offer expertise in reconstruction for congenital deformities as well as defects resulting from ablative cancer surgery or traumatic injury.

The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers a complete range of reconstructive procedures, performed by surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Our surgeons are Fellows in the American College of Surgeons (ACS) as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Our surgeons evaluate each patient’s problem in an initial consultation. We then present an individualized treatment plan, explaining the risks and benefits of all the treatment options. This candid discussion allows patients and their family to make the best treatment decision. Where indicated, we offer a multidisciplinary approach, which provides superior patent care.
