One of the missions of the Mount Sinai Medical Center and The Icahn School of Medicine is to educate the future leaders of the medical profession, as well as the general public. There are numerous opportunities available for the public, as well as trainees at all educational levels.
Older adults and their caregivers that are interested in learning more about their disease process, and other aspects of health ageing are encouraged to attend our educational workshops. These workshops are run in conjunction with staff and patients from the Martha Stewart Center for Living [link to http://www.mountsinai.org/patient-care/service-areas/geriatrics-and-aging/areas-of-care/martha-stewart-center-for-living] and the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.
