Masters Degree Programs

Masters in Bioethics through Union-Mount Sinai Program

A Masters of Science in Bioethics is available through the Union Graduate College - Mount Sinai Bioethics Program offered by the Union Graduate College. The design of this competency-based program is to provide skills in clinical ethics. It is a distance-learning program, taught primarily on-line, and making it very flexible and compatible with the complicated scheduling of medical education.

The program offers some face-to-face education, beginning with a two-week summer pro-seminar, including a clinical practicum at Icahn School of Medicine and a capstone practicum. Tuition reductions for School of Medicine students are available. A joint MD/MS in Bioethics is also available.
