The Page and William Black Post-Graduate School

The Page and William Black Post-Graduate School has been serving the Mount Sinai community since 1967. The full-time staff of five is available to assist with the planning of a full range of CME activities from evening seminars to half- and full-day symposia, as well as multi-day events. Access is available to several state-of-the-art venues ranging in capacity from 100- to 600-seat auditoriums. The department has established relationships with NYC hotels for the planning of larger events.

ACCME Accreditation with Commendation

In March 2007, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) awarded Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai "Accreditation with Commendation", the maximum award status that entitles Icahn School of Medicine to a six-year certification period of continuing medical education for physicians. The rating is the highest available by a CME provider, and according to ACCME policy is “reserved for programs which are truly exceptional.” Icahn School of Medicine is proud to have achieved this exemplary status. The department has the expertise to manage your CME event from the early planning stages, date of the event, issuance of CME certificates, and all necessary follow-up. Following is a list of some of the services with which the staff can provide or assist:

Once an agreed-upon percentage of the costs is placed on deposit, the department can begin procuring all necessary services as well as managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable.
