- Applicants for whom English is a second language are required to submit scores from the TOEFL exam
For international applicants or those attending foreign institutions: SOPHAS requires that transcripts from colleges and universities outside the U.S. be evaluated by World Education Services (WES). Please see www.wes.org/sophas for instructions.
Applications will not be considered complete or reviewed for admission until ALL supporting documents have been received.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. While there are no specific course requirements, official transcripts will be reviewed for demonstration of satisfactory performance in quantitative and qualitative methods and in social and biological sciences. Students are selected on the basis of demonstrated past academic achievement.

MD-MPH Dual Degree Students
Students who are applying for a dual MD/MPH degree do not need to submit a SOPHAS application; however, dual degree applicants should submit a supplemental application. Please contact the Program Office for details.
