In addition to Fundamentals in Immunology, students are required to take six advanced credits starting the second year, including Advanced Topics in Immunology, which is a three-credit modular course. Each module of advanced topics consists of a one-credit course.

In addition to Advanced Topics in Immunology, students must take at least three additional credits of elective courses during their second year. We encourage you to take electives that match your interests. Students in the Medical Science Training Program have the same course requirements but may need to distribute their course work differently.

Students are required to attend the Advanced Course in Immunology offered by the American Association of Immunologists.  This is a one-week intense and rigorous course that students take the summer after Year 2.
