With recent outbreaks of mumps and measles, it’s a good time to revisit your child’s vaccination chart – and your own. “The CDC and another organization called the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices make yearly vaccine recommendations, for both children and adults,” said Roberto Posada, MD, Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, and Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. “The cdc.gov/vaccines website has easy-to-use vaccination schedules to help parents make sure their infants and children get all of their shots, and to help all adults keep track of any new shots or boosters they should receive.” Learn more.
