A recent study could spark debate again called Hispanic paradox. According to experts, Latinos have an average life of 81.2 years.

A new study found that Hispanics who participated, survival rates were significantly higher in conditions such as cancer, heart disease, AIDS and diabetes. "Despite the multiple diseases that we see in Latinos, they tend to live much longer than you would expect," said Dr. Yasmin Meah from The Mount Sinai Medical Center. The Hispanic community was associated with a mortality advantage over 17 percent of whites. Hispanics are believed to live an average of two years longer than whites or non-Hispanic. Learn more.
