Stipends
Mount Sinai requires all principal investigators to adhere to, as a minimum, the current NIH Postdoctoral Stipends. In the event that a Postdoctoral Fellow receives support from abroad (e.g. stipend from another country), that stipend will be supplemented, if necessary, to reach the minimum levels delineated by NIH (http://grants.nih.gov/training/nrsa.htm). The mentor and funding sources will determine any stipend above the minimum, but mentors are encouraged if possible to go above the minimum to meet the cost of living in New York.
All policies are subject to change by Icahn School of Medicine from time to time.
