Ami D Shah, MD is an Assistant Professor of Radiology specializing in Breast Imaging at the Dubin Breast Center and Center for Advanced Medicine of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with specialty training in all aspects of breast imaging, including tomosynthesis, breast MRI, and imaging guided breast procedures.
Dr. Shah received her BA in English and Asian American Studies from Columbia University, graduating summa cum laude. After spending two years teaching math and computers at Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn Heights, Dr. Shah went on to obtain her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received the American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement. Dr. Shah completed a Transitional Year Internship at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She then returned to Mount Sinai for residency training in Diagnostic Radiology followed by a year of fellowship training in Breast and Body Imaging.
Dr. Shah is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Radiology Society of North America.
