My investigative work has been the study of allergic and inflammatory processes, including solid phase peptide synthesis and conformational and binding studies of mast cell degranulating peptides. The aim is to understand the events triggered by mast cells and neutrophils and the design of drugs that can inhibit mediators of allergy and inflammation.
