Biography
- Dr. David Kriegel is a nationally recognized Mohs skin cancer surgeon and the director of the Division of Dermatologic and Mohs Surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center where his practice is restricted to the treatment of skin cancer using the Mohs technique.
Dr. Kriegel, who plays a key role in the education of residents and fellows, is the founder of Mount Sinai's Procedural Dermatology program. This Fellowship is one of only 46 ACGME-accredited programs in the US and attracts outstanding dermatologists who want to become Mohs surgeons.
Dr. Kriegel is regularly listed in New York Magazine, The New York Times Best Doctors editions, and in America's Best Cancer Doctors Guide by Castle Connolly.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
