Biography
Dr. Ingram is a fun loving and caring physician with a particular interest in preventative cardiology. Dr. Ingram’s patients love her casual demeanor as well as her ability to relate to the stress that accompanies a busy life. Dr. Ingram is a mother to three children ranging in age from 10 to 16 years old. She also enjoys exercising-- always attempting to “practice what she preaches”.
Dr. Ingram received a Bachelor of Science from Hobart-William Smith College in 1983. She then completed a Master of Science in neurophysiology at the University of Texas (Houston). Dr. Ingram received her Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College and went on to Mount Sinai Hospital for her residency in Internal Medicine. She completed her Cardiology Fellowship at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center in 1996. Dr. Ingram is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease. In addition to acting as an Associate Professor at Mount Sinai, Dr. Ingram is also on staff at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Industry Relationships
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their relationships with such companies.
