Biography

    Dr. Grabscheid completed an Honors, 4 year residency in Internal Medicine which specialized in inpatient care. She is a Board Certified physician and is currently a Senior Academic Hospitalist at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. She is a Fellow in both the Society of Hospital Medicine and the American College of Physicians. Through Mount Sinai School of Medicine/ The Donald W. Reynolds Foundation in 2013, she completed a Mini Fellowship in Geriatric Medical Education/ Career Development. Dr. Grabscheid has been recognized as one of our top teachers, frequently being in the top 10th percentile in teaching evaluations, hospital wide. And she has just won the prestigious Care and Compassion Award, 2014.

Industry Relationships

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
