Grace Kim, MD




Dr. Kim is a general surgeon with fellowship-training in laparoscopic surgery. When possible, Dr. Kim employs a minimally-invasive approach to abdominal operations to reduce pain and scars. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kim is the Program Director of the Surgical Residency Program at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Roosevelt. Dr. Kim has been recognized as the Teacher of the Year in 2008 and 2014 for her outstanding commitment to the resident education. Dr. Kim also has a special interest in global missions and international health and has traveled to Peru, Ecuador, Liberia, and Nigeria to perform surgeries. In 2010, Dr. Kim founded the Surgical Mission Fund to help fund resident participation on surgical missions trips.
