Dr. Parikh graduated from B. J. Medical College in Ahmadabad, India. After migrating to United States she did residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai school of Medicine at Queens Hospital Center. She has done a research fellowship and then clinical fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism from Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Since joining Mount Sinai School of Medicine as clinical instructor, she is a member of diabetes team in division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Bone disease.  Her clinical interests include type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes, female reproductive disorder and osteoporosis.
