Dr. Goertz has published clinical research using bedside ultrasound in the evaluation of kidney stones. His current research interests include the use of ultrasound in the evaluation of renal colic, the use of ultrasound for non-invasive monitoring of the critically ill patient, and educational assessment of emergency ultrasound.
