Biography
Dr. Jessica Lambert completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received a research training award from the National Institutes of Health-Human Genome Research Institute and participated in a research project investigating the genetic basis of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dr. Lambert then went on to study medicine at Temple University School of Medicine, where she received her MD. She completed her internship and residency training at New York University School of Medicine. She continued her training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism as a fellow at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Upon graduating in 2012, Dr. Lambert joined the faculty at Mount Sinai to work at affiliate practices as part of the Diabetes and Cardiovascular Alliance, as well as a member of the Faculty Practice Associates.
In addition to diabetes and metabolism, her clinical interests include Cushing’s Disease, pituitary disorders and thyroid disease.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
