Joanna Mecca, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Hospitalist Medicine at Mount Sinai, Beth Israel Medical Center. Prior to this, she served as an instructor of medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2013-2014. She received her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (now Rutgers Medical School), and completed her internal medicine resident training at Brown University.

Dr. Mecca is involved with Hospitalist Quality Improvement, in addition to serving on the Anticoagulation Committee and the COPD Readmissions Committee at Mount Sinai, Beth Israel Medical Center
