Biography

    Joseph Panarelli, M.D. only sees patients with pre existing glaucoma. Joseph Panarelli is a dedicated ophthalmologist serving his patients in New York, NY. Dr. Panarelli is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and he is a member of the American Glaucoma Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is currently a Comprehensive and Glaucoma Specialist and is serving as the Associate Residency Program Director at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Previously, he has served as an assistant professor of clinical ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Dr. Panarelli received his medical education from Georgetown University, and he began his postdoctoral education at the Lenox Hill Hospital with a general medicine internship. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and then relocated to Miami to complete his glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Dr. Panarelli is dedicated to providing his patients with excellent care. He approaches his patients with care and respect, listening intently and asking questions to ensure that he fully understands their needs, and fully explicates his course of treatment to encourage a positive experience.
