- CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR Psychiatry
- Dr. Hess is on the faculty at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he teaches, supervises, and formally assesses psychotherapy competencies of trainees in Psychiatry. He teaches Principles of Psychoanalysis at The New York Psychoanalytic Institute where he completed training in adult Psychoanalysis. He trained in Psychiatry at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at New York University-Bellevue. He earned an MD degree at Rush Medical College. He has extensive experience evaluating medically ill children and adoptive families.
Previously Unsuccessful Psychotherapies
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their relationships with such companies.
Dr.Hess is not currently required to report Industry relationships.
