- After completing an undergraduate degree in Philosophy at Fordham University, Dr. Mark Clark earned his M.D. degree from Brown University School of Medicine. He then completed residency training in emergency medicine at St. Luke’s Roosevelt where he served as chief resident. Dr. Clark has been active in postgraduate medical education leadership for 20 years. He is the residency program director for the EM Residency at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s, Mt. Sinai Roosevelt in NYC. He is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai. He serves on the Ethics Committee of Society of Academic Emergency Medicine as well as the Academic Affairs Committee of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is a member of the Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Clark’s primary interests in addition to patient care include undergraduate and residency medical education and mentorship, medical ethics, global health initiatives, and innovation in fostering humanism and professionalism in medical training.
