Dr. Sundaresan has been a clinical professor of Neurosurgery at Mount Sinai since 1992. His previous academic appointments include Associate Professor at Columbia University Medical School and Assistant Professor at Cornell University Medical School. Dr. Sundaresan specializes in all aspects of spine surgery with extensive experience with primary and metastatic tumors to the spine. His subspecialty is Neurooncology. He has held the position of Chairman of the Spine Tumor Task Force of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
