- Richard S. Mizuguchi, MD is a board certified dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Doctors' office. Dr. Mizuguchi completed his undergraduate education at University of Pennsylvania where he studied molecular genetics (Cum Laude) and his graduate education at Tulane University, School of Medicine. Dr. Mizuguchi post-graduate training in dermatology began with an internship in internal medicine at Tulane Medical School. He completed his residency in dermatology and served as a chief resident at Wayne State University. Since graduation, he has specialized in diseases of the hair and was an Assistant Clinical Professor at Northwestern University, Columbia University and currently at Mount Sinai Medical School. He has also served as a clinical instructor of dermatology at St Luke’s Roosevelt and Beth Israel Hospitals since 2002. Dr. Mizuguchi also has extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology, including, chemical peels, Botox and injectable fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane as well as hair restoration surgery. Dr. Mizuguchi is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and on the editorial board of Cutis.
