Dr. Shari Sheflin is a Clinical Instructor in the Divisions of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatric Hepatology. Dr. Sheflin began her education at Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and obtained her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.  She completed her pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital where she also served as a chief resident.  She went on to pursue a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Sheflin cares for children with a multitude of gastrointestinal and liver illnesses and specializes in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, liver disease, liver failure, and transplant hepatology. She has presented her research at national conferences and continues to work on clinical research in the field of liver transplantation.
