Suma Dasari, MD, is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She received her medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine. She then went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Rush University Medical Center and a fellowship in rheumatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She treats a range of rheumatologic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, and performs joint injections. Dr. Dasari finds making a difference in her patients’ lives most rewarding, as she helps her patients with symptom amelioration and improved mobility. In addition to caring for patients, she values her role as clinician educator in educating medical students, residents, and fellows in rheumatology training.
