Biography

    Tien H. Nguyen, M.D., has been named Clinical Instructor in Medicine (Cardiology). Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Nguyen was Chief of Cardiology at St. Claire's Hospital and Medical Center, and Clinical Instructor of Medicine at New York Medical College. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed several cardiovascular medicine fellowships at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers of New York. His research is varied, with focuses including percutaneous coronary intervention and unstable angina. Dr. Nguyen is co-founder, with Dr. Lee, of New York Heart Associates, PC.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
