The Addiction Institute at Mount Sinai hosts regular events covering various topics related to the field of addiction.
The purpose of the Addiction Club is to provide guidance, mentorship, and research opportunities to junior investigators and to promote a collaborative forum for senior mentors. The Club is structured to:
- enhance addiction science knowledge that improves patient care
- provide exposure to state-of-the art research and clinical skills
- enhance career development towards academic addiction (and related fields).
The Club is open to Fellows (basic, translational, and clinical) and Residents who are interested in pursuing an academic career in addiction. Additionally, it is open to even those who are unsure about a focus in addiction, but interested in pursuing an academic career in clinically related disciplines. All are welcome!
