IBV Valve System for Severe Emphysema

Description
The purpose of this study is to determine how safe and effective the investigational device IBV® Valve System is when used in the airways of people with severe emphysema. To do this, the health of people with severe emphysema who receive the IBV® Valve System will be compared to the health of people with severe emphysema who do not receive the IBV® Valve System. The IBV® Valve System is considered investigational because it has not yet been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
