Description
The purpose of this study is to investigate the antidepressant mechanism of action of ketamine in patients with treatment-resistant major depression (TRD). We are looking for depressed participants suffering from Major Depressive disorder (MDD) who have not improved after several medication treatments for a research study with an investigational novel medication aiming to relieve symptoms of depression. Participants would have up to two separate overnight stays at the Mount Sinai Hospital then follow-up visits in our clinic. Eligible participants will receive treatment at no cost and compensation for their time.
