Description

The Mount Sinai Eating and Weight Disorders Program is conducting a five session treatment intervention for individuals (male and female) ages 14-65 who are currently suffering from an eating disorder.  This treatment intervention is aimed at specifically addressing body image concerns that may not be resolved in the context of a patient's current treatment. The purpose of this study is to test two study treatments for teenagers and adults who have persistent body image concerns.  The study will test whether these study treatments help to reduce body image concerns.  An individual may qualify for participation in this study if s/he is currently in treatment for an eating disorder and displays concerns about body image.
