Description

The purpose of this study is to look at the effectiveness of ketamine in patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Ketamine is not approved for the treatment of PTSD and is considered experimental in this study. Ketamine is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as an anesthetic (a drug used to produce loss of consciousness before and during surgery).
