Description

The Model 4396 left ventricular lead is part of a Medtronic Cardiac Resynchronizaiton Therapy (CRT) system that is used to treat heart failure. The CRT system which send small undetectable electrical impulses to both lower chambers of the heart to help them beat together in a more synchornized pattern, is approved by the FDA and is currently available to the public, however, the Model 4396 lead is investigational and the purpose of this study is to see how the Model 4396 Left Ventricular Lead works and to determine if it is safe and effective.
