Description

The purpose of this study is to establish the imaging performance of the new (first in the world) PET/MR (Positron Emission Tomography/Magnetic Resonance) imaging system.  The Gemini TF PET/MR provides whole-body PET and MR imaging and is capable of running in combination as a system or individually. The clinical value of merging PET and MRI units is to combine the functional information provided by PET with the high soft-tissue contrast offered by MRI. Eligible subjects are those who are referred for a routine clinical PET/CT examination. Interested patients who are willing to enroll in the study will be asked to undergo a PET/MR study right after their clinical PET/CT scan, with no additional injection or exposure.
