ADAPT: A Comparison of Direct Aspiration vs Stent Retriever As a First Approach

Description

The primary objective of this randomized trial is to demonstrate the ADAPT approach is not inferior to that of conventional first-line stent retriever approach in Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) patients within 6 hours of symptom onset. The secondary objective is to demonstrate whether the ADAPT approach is technically superior and more cost effective than the first-line stent retriever approach in the treatment of AIS.
