Impact of intraoperative blood pressure on cognitive performance in patients with and without hypertension a prospective observational study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate a cohort of 150 patients 60 years of age and greater undergoing laminectomies (back surgery) under general anesthesia. The surgical procedure and anesthesia are not changed. We will ask the participants to undergo neuropsychological testing prior to surgery, 24 hours after surgery and 1 month after surgery.
