Description

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of corneal collagen cross-linking on eyes Post Refractive Corneal Ectasia. This study is for patients who are post LASIK (laser refractive procedure to correct near or far sightedness) and may have developed unanticipated corneal changes resulting in blurring of vision. The treatment makes use of Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) eye drops and UV light which will act together to strengthen the corneal fibers in the hopes of preventing these corneal changes from worsening.
