The purpose of this study is to evaluate a program of group cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) among patient being treated for hepatitis C. CBT is designed to help people change their outlook on life by using positive and realistic perspectives (point of view) to help change their negative perceptions (thoughts, feelings and awareness) that may impair their quality of life. This type of therapy has been widely used to treat depression related to chronic illnesses.
