Cancer Institute Biorepository
The Tisch Cancer Institute Biorepository (CIB) is an extensive collection of biospecimen (tissue and blood) associated to annotated clinical data, securely stored to protect patients’ confidentiality and privacy. Participation in CIB is proposed to every patient from the Tisch Cancer Institute and the goal is to acquire specimens from all of them.
The overall mission of CIB is to further translational research at Mount Sinai and to promote collaborative research.
The CIB is funded by the Icahn School of Medicine (MSSM) and The Tisch Cancer Institute.
