Cognitive Outcomes of Cardiac Surgery

This group performs longitudinal studies of cognitive outcomes of cardiac and thoracic aortic surgery.  The effects of changes in surgical and anesthetic management, and efficacy of putative neuroprotective measures are examined in an effort to improve cognitive outcomes following these types of surgery.
