FISH, POC FISH Panel

Test Description:
Aneuploidy on interphase nuclei (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization) is offered for diagnostic evaluation of POC specimens that fail to support growth in culture. This panel includes probes for chromosomes 13, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, X and Y and will identify abnormalities in ~80% of chromosomally abnormal specimens

Specimen Requirements:
POC: skin, cord, or chrionic villi in sterile saline.

Shipping: Samples should be received on day of collection. Keep specimens at room temperature.

Turnaround Time: 10-14 days
