The Office of Research Services (ORS) serves as a central resource for the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) research community. ORS assists the research community with: information on how to navigate the internal research infrastructure and external research agencies; research orientation for new faculty and staff; consulting services; ongoing training, education, and communication, as well as a wide range of research tools.
The ORS staff answers all categories of research questions or directs questions to the appropriate office or individual who can provide the answers to members of the research community. We offer consultation services for investigators and their teams, providing guidance on submissions to ClinicalTrials.gov, Investigational New Drug (IND), and Investigational Device Exemption (IDE). ORS also offers customized training and education to the research community.
The ORS team responds to questions from the public about research conducted at Mount Sinai.
