Situated in a leading health center/teaching institution in one of the world’s largest, most diverse cities, Mount Sinai Global Health will have a wealth of human, academic and technological resources on which to draw. And the ideals and qualities which have traditionally informed the work of Mount Sinai since its founding more than a century and a half ago – medical excellence, social responsibility, community service, intellectual rigor – provide a standard by which the Initiative will measure its progress.
The leaders of Mount Sinai Global Health are a group of world-renowned medical professionals who will be drawing on their years of experience – and their past and current work at Mount Sinai – to forge major new programs to address key areas in global health including:
