Clinical Trials

More recently we have been collaborating with the laboratories of Dr. Cheuk Tang and Dr. Jin Fan to incorporate imaging measures into our clinical trials in order to investigate the neural mechanisms of a particular drug's effect. For example, the pattern of brain activation during memory performance as measured by fMRI may provide some clues to the failure we observed with adjunctive atomoxetine to enhance the cognitive functions of patients with schizophrenia.
